Gabions
The use of gabions as landscaping elements has significantly increased in recent years. They are often employed in gardens, parks, along roadsides, and on corporate premises to create a modern and appealing atmosphere. With their unique texture and appearance, gabions can achieve an impressive impact and enhance any terrain.
By combining metal grids and stones, gabions provide excellent drainage and are durable and robust. They can be manufactured in various sizes, shapes, and colors to meet the requirements of each customer.
The double-post design is the classic choice for our gabion program, known for its straightforward application and easy installation.
The gabions are made of hot-dip galvanized steel grids with a mesh size of 25/200 mm or 50/200 mm, securely attached to the double-post. The double-post has steel bases on both sides to accommodate the double wire mesh grids. These are fastened with sturdy rivet nuts, which simultaneously serve as attachment points for the screws.
After the installation of the parallel running grids on the post, a filling width of 120 mm or 140 mm is achieved (200 mm is also possible upon request). The calculation of any structural analysis in this regard is to be arranged by the client.
Gradations are easily achievable as the height can be varied in increments of 200 mm. Since the grid construction can be filled with various stones according to personal taste, the gabion proves to be a highly individual way to design spaces.
This product provides a natural and individual visual and noise barrier for both private and commercial use. The gabions are available in hot-dip galvanized or additionally powder-coated finishes in a wide range of possible RAL colors.
